Yogyakarta, July 2026 — Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta receives an award at the Jogja Brand and Business Award (JBBA) 2026 organized by Harian Jogja on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The awarding ceremony will be held at Kasultanan Ballroom, Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta, where the hotel was recognized in the category of “Hotel Pelestari Warisan Budaya Jawa” (Hotel Preserving Javanese Cultural Heritage).
With 78 award categories, JBBA is an appreciation platform for brands around Yogyakarta and Central Java that contribute strategically to the long-term development of the regions. Through this initiative, Harian Jogja aims to become a public reference in identifying relevant and responsible brands while strengthening Yogyakarta’s position as a center for brand and policy development.
The assessment process for JBBA is based on three dimensions: public perception, digital integration, and real impact. The awards are further categorized into three clusters: Cultural Cluster (Klaster Budaya), which focuses on cultural preservation and tradition-based innovation; Education Cluster (Klaster Pendidikan), which highlights industry relevance, accessibility, and contributions to literacy; and Sustainable Economy Cluster (Klaster Ekonomi Berkelanjutan), which assesses ESG participation, empowerment of local MSMEs (UMKM), and socio-economic impact on community welfare.

This recognition reflects Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta’s commitment to preserving and promoting Javanese cultural heritage through various cultural programs and experiences that introduce guests to the richness of local traditions.
